Suzanne Comes Back from Cancer & Completes Her 100th Dive!

I just received this picture which I needed to share. Suzanne just completed her 100th dive in the Cayman Islands!!
WE ARE ALL SO PROUD OF YOU!!!

Suzanne has always been an endurance athlete best described as humble and determined. She has completed multiple Ironmans, marathons and many other triathlons since at least 2001 according to Sportstats records. She has been a long time member of Team Triumph who quietly goes about her workouts consistently every week while balancing family and her important career with Canadian Blood Services.

Last year Suzanne was diagnosed with colon cancer and had to undergo emergency surgery followed by brutal chemotherapy. She returned to her personal coaching program with us as soon as she could knowing that this was what was going to bring back her strength, health and spirit. She started with spinning and then in the pool with socks on because the pain from the neuropathy was so severe. We then moved onto a walking and strength program and just recently she has become a runner again! She looks forward to joining the team at the Perth Triathlon in June and becoming a triathlete again.

YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL!

Register or support Suzanne at the "PUSH FOR YOUR TUSH RUN" 5km or 10k on June 24th in support of Colorectal Cancer Canada.
