Sarv has been passionate about movement from an early age, exploring sports like swimming, volleyball, chess, and Olympic weightlifting. She has worked as a personal trainer and performance coach for over a decade, helping athletes of all levels reach their goals.
With a background in kinesiology (BKin, MSc, and currently completing her PhD), Sarv brings both science and empathy to her coaching. Her philosophy is athlete-centred: she believes great coaching starts with listening, understanding each athlete’s goals, and designing a plan that fits their needs and goals.
Sarv transitioned from Olympic weightlifting to triathlon during the pandemic when a friend asked her, “Want to do this race with me?” and hasn’t looked back since. What began as a 5 km challenge has grown into a love for endurance racing. She’s now completed several triathlons, including Ironman 70.3 Musselman, and races regularly on both road and trail.
As part of Team Triumph, you’ll find Sarv assisting Head Coach Julia in our virtual cycling sessions and supporting athletes with their triathlon training and overall performance. She’s also completing her NCCP Community Triathlon Coach certification and holds credentials in NCCP in Olympic weightlifting and CanFitPro PT.
When she’s not training or coaching, Sarv loves exploring the science of human performance or sharing her passion for sport and learning with others.
I would highly recommended Eric and Team Triumph!

A year ago I could only tread water and had not run since childhood. With the amazing Virtual Olympic course, support, guidance, and tips from of all the folks at Team Triumph I've ended the season with my first Olympic distance triathlon under my belt and am hooked! Really looking forward to the 2025 season and even to the hard work over the winter to prepare. Karen Houle
I wanted to let you know that the Perth triathlon was a great experience, I somehow placed third in my age group! What a supportive group of participants (including Team Triumph athletes), cheering bystanders and volunteers.
Thanks to your swim lessons, I learned the technical basics and gained confidence to get back in the pool after decades. And it was really special doing this with Ann Laidlaw, my bestie for many years. We did a couple of additional swims with Kevin and Team Triumph people, also a great way to continue learning and practicing good technical form.
I will continue with lane swimming and who knows, maybe there's another triathlon in my future!
