TEAM TRIUMPH HOLIDAY W PARTY!

Thanks to everyone for coming out to our annual Holiday Party and playing along with the Year of W theme. We had a few Waldo's, a Wonder Woman, Waitress, Wedding Bride, White Wine, Red Wine, White, Whale, White Wig, Watermelons and the Willisses just to name a few!

The food was delicious and everyone put their creative W thinking caps on with Waldorph salad, Wasabi Wafers, Waterbridge sweets, Winter pecan pies, Whisps crackers, W cheeses, W chocolates, Wild rice dishes, Watermelon, Wagon Wheels and plenty of Wine!!!

The W Game got very competitive with the Women taking on the Men. The final score was 142 points for the Men and 136 for the Women but there was a slight handicap in one of the women's categories so everyone took home the prizes of Welsh's Sweets!

TEAM TRIUMPH ATHLETE OF THE YEAR 2019
SUE BENNET

The Team Triumph Athlete of the Year Award is given every year to the deserving athlete in Team Triumph who has qualified and competed internationally at a World championship. This year the award was given to Sue Bennet. Sue qualified for the World Championships at the Esprit Olympic Distance Triathlon in Montreal. She and her loving husband Jacques drove to Montreal early that morning after having just come in from a business trip in Prague the night before.

In August Sue completed the World Championships Olympic Distance Triathlon in Lausanne, Switzerland with very strict cut-off times that day.

Sue is a determined athlete, loving wife to Jacques and Doctor at CHEO who has given so much of her time and expertise to local families. Congratulations Sue! Thank you for all that you do and for inspiring all of us to be better! We look forward to hearing more about your story in an upcoming newsletter.
