As the awesome outdoor season rolls along, we are seeing more epic workouts hitting Training Peaks and Strava. Although triathlon isn't only about going long, I have to say, there have been some pretty impressive feats happening this week by our members!

Congrats to Glen Paradis for completing a long brick as he prepares to complete the iron distance this Summer: 143km Bike - 18 km Run!

Congrats to Dan Begin for completing his long brick as he prepares to complete the half-iron distance:
90km Bike - 9km Run!

Ranya has been working with Coach Maggie all Summer in the water and has officially gone from doing a choppy and challenging head-up front crawl 750m open water swim last Summer to completing a 5km swim at Meech Lake on the weekend!! We are sooooo proud of you Ranya!

I noticed Janet and Annemarieke got out for a double century ride, capping off 200km in a day and at a pretty feisty pace! Congrats gals!

Harry Briggs is back in Europe and climbed his first French Col! 36.89km with a 1068m elevation gain! Woo hoo!

Last week on our Facebook page we posted a video of Katie Ledecky (1500m World record holder) swimming a lap with a cup of chocolate milk on the back of her head. The challenge was on for Sophie Dagenais and Debi Zaret. They got out there and got it done! Check out the video on our FB and IG feed! Next week: rosé, gals!

Dan Begin in the transition zone before heading out for his 9km run. Nothing like having your coach randomly show up and make sure that you aren't doggin' the transition!
Coach Maggie gave Ranya a little nudge to encourage her to try to go long. Here they are at the end of the 5km swim at Meech Lake.
Harry Briggs completing the challenge du cyclist at the top of La Montagne de Lure French Col!!
