Deborah Jackman and Julie Matte (pictured above) participated in our 8-month 70.3 group training program and were ready to step up to the start line at Ironman 70.3 in Mont Tremblant, but due to the smoke the event was cancelled at the last minute. After becoming great pals in the program, they teamed up together and decided they would do the 70.3 at the Barrelman. These two both made it to the finish line smiling. Congratulations to you both! We look forward to seeing what this dynamic duo has in store next season!
Congratulations to Coach Gabi and Nadine Tischauser (pictured below) who both hit the podium at the Esprit Aquabike, giving them the opportunity to qualify for the Worlds next Summer in Malaga, Spain!
Stuart Whittaker had a great end of season race at the Kejimkujik Triathlon in Nova Scotia, coming 2nd in his age category!
Also in September the Triumph troops hit the line at the Army Run. Congrats to all who participated!
Tom Zinck, our Team Triumpher of the week next week, earned his recognition yesterday completing a challenging 52km trail run.

I wanted to let you know that the Perth triathlon was a great experience, I somehow placed third in my age group! What a supportive group of participants (including Team Triumph athletes), cheering bystanders and volunteers.Thanks to your swim lessons, I learned the technical basics and gained confidence to get back in the pool after decades. And it was really special doing this with Ann Laidlaw, my bestie for many years. We did a couple of additional swims with Kevin and Team Triumph people, also a great way to continue learning and practicing good technical form.I will continue with lane swimming and who knows, maybe there's another triathlon in my future!
I love the accountability and the structure of the Virtual 70.3 Half Ironman training program. I don't think I would have gotten this far without the program. The accountability is huge for me!
