The summer is whizzing by at its usual rate, and what a fantastic season it's been! It was wonderful to see so many Team Triumph members when we were back in Canada. Since then, we've been eagerly tracking all our athletes as they tackle races and achieve their goals. Here’s a roundup of their incredible accomplishments:
The athletes at IM 70.3 Tremblant faced some tough weather conditions, but they battled through like champions! Despite the challenges, many completed the swim, while for some, the swim was canceled. The Strava maps were all over the place, but everyone who participated deserves huge congratulations for their perseverance and making it to the finish line safely!
The day before the 70.3, the conditions were perfect for racing the 5150, with overcast skies and a break from the heatwave. Congratulations to all the competitors!
Last weekend, we were tracking the folks at IM 70.3 Muskoka. Sabrina, who wasn't able to swim in Tremblant, had some unfinished business. Teammate Eren convinced her to join her for a back-to-back 70.3 race. These two, along with Joanne, managed to rest, recover, and step up to the start line two weeks later and finish the race! Wow, that's some impressive strength!
In recent weeks, our athletes have competed in various races worldwide, including AG world championship qualifiers. A special shoutout to Stephanie Bell, who couldn't fit a sprint triathlon into her calendar, so she did one on her own! Kudos, Steph! Congratulations to all our racers!
A Team Triumph favorite, the Meech Lake Triathlon saw many of our athletes and coaches enjoying the race at our favorite playground, Gatineau Park! A special thank-you to Coach Kevin and our wonderful shop manager Cary Willis for volunteering!
It was a hot one in the Finger Lakes of New York, but Lara and Sarv completed the race regardless! The swim had some crazy swirly currents, and the steep hills on the run, combined with 40C heat, made it an extreme challenge to reach the finish line. A bunch of us did that race several years ago, and it's definitely a beautiful one to put on your bucket list.
Congratulations to all our athletes for their incredible achievements! We’re proud of every single one of you. Keep pushing those boundaries and achieving your goals! 🎉

A year ago I could only tread water and had not run since childhood. With the amazing Virtual Olympic course, support, guidance, and tips from of all the folks at Team Triumph I've ended the season with my first Olympic distance triathlon under my belt and am hooked! Really looking forward to the 2025 season and even to the hard work over the winter to prepare. Karen Houle
I wanted to let you know that the Perth triathlon was a great experience, I somehow placed third in my age group! What a supportive group of participants (including Team Triumph athletes), cheering bystanders and volunteers.
Thanks to your swim lessons, I learned the technical basics and gained confidence to get back in the pool after decades. And it was really special doing this with Ann Laidlaw, my bestie for many years. We did a couple of additional swims with Kevin and Team Triumph people, also a great way to continue learning and practicing good technical form.
I will continue with lane swimming and who knows, maybe there's another triathlon in my future!
I love the accountability and the structure of the Virtual 70.3 Half Ironman training program. I don't think I would have gotten this far without the program. The accountability is huge for me!
