TRIUMPHERS TRIUMPHING!

HIGHLIGHTING OUR MEMBERS
This week we really want to highlight YOU, our readers! YOU are an incredibly inspiring group of people who workout each week on your various journeys to self improvement and optimal health. Life can get in the way sometimes, but you always come back to your pride knowing that the support you need will be there and YOU will carry on getting fitter and staying healthy in mind, body and spirit. Some are here to compete and some are here to complete. No matter what your goal is, we've got each other's back. And that is what it's all about.
HIGHLIGHTING OUR TEAM
WE are incredibly grateful for the amazing TEAM of coaches/staff we have at Team Triumph! In a short period of time, they have come together and offered Team Triumph the support it needs as our little club has grown. They are all willing to go the distance to help YOU, our members, improve. At the same time they are continually learning and working hard to make Team Triumph the best little triathlon club in town! Thank you to Coaches Maggie, Paula and David, to our Director of WOW Brenda, and to our Logistics Officer and my rock, Martin! We are so very luck to have you all!!

FITNESS TESTING WITH DAVID

We started the regular last Saturday of the month fitness testing this week with the incredibly talented and experienced David Dallaire. Ariel took advantage of jumping in for her re-test to see how her training is improving. By the looks of those results Ariel, you are getting stronger!

BLOOD LACTATE CHECK UP FOR BYRON

One of our newest Team Triumph members, Byron having his blood lactates checked during his test. Byron is a longtime runner and cyclist and wants to get back into triathlon so is in the pool working hard on improving his swim stroke.

WISHING FRANCE A SPEEDY RECOVERY!

Last week France fell while out skiing and broke her wrist and chipped her elbow. Madame Oupelai is still smiling and you can bet she won't be out for too long. When there is a will, there is a way. The wonderful thing about triathlon is that there is usually one sport that still works when you're injured. See you soon in spinning France!

MAGGIE'S RUSSIAN PYRAMID!

Coach Maggie treated the Saturday Brick Class to a fun workout...the Russian Pyramid! If you haven't tried one of Maggie's classes in the pool or the cycling studio, you are in for a treat! In a very short time, Maggie has gone from a member of our club to Rockstar Coach!

COUPLES THAT WORKOUT TOGETHER...

John and Tara are super busy with their business but make fitness their priority, and workout together! John has done several Ironman races. Tara is new to the sport and has made incredible gains in her overall fitness in just a short time.

SANDY STILL SMILING AFTER THE RUSSIAN PYRAMID :)

I guess it wasn't that bad! Sandy loves coming to our classes for the hard workouts and loves to be able to do a full hour and a half on Saturdays!

MEANWHILE IN MIAMI...

Kit E reached the podium again! She placed 3rd out of 50 in her age category in the 5k on Saturday, and went on to complete the half marathon on Sunday! Luc was down there as well but made the smart decision to pull out of the race due to a hamstring injury. It's really not easy to make those tough decisions but we do all of this for the love of sport and if that means the choice of not working out for 8 weeks vs one day, the choice is easy!
